Surenlicious began writing Jade Kingdoms on August 1st 2017, and is largely the subject of her art. The comic contains a mythic cast, with a wide variety of characters complimenting the story in both representation and life experience. Telling the tale of healing from generational trauma, Jade Kingdoms does so in the form of epic world-building and answering life's questions in spirituality and a life well-lived.
Drawing inspiration from her rich cultural background, Surenlicious speaks her life's experience into existence providing us with a message that while tragedy may strike, hope and healing will never not be unobtainable.
